The white glass pane that is used for removing color from the beacons is not working so once i place a color it stays that way untill another color overwrites it. I have only been able to get Blue and Orange panes but i cannot continue because I cant remove the colors
The same bug happened to me, but how i fixed it was going to open lan on escape button, and then i put cheats on. Now i could do /gamemode s! and u could but the white glass pane.
I tried with 1.9 and the 15w42a snapshot and still cannot place the glass pane.
It's not so much an issue of "my white pane doesn't work" - it may be that you have somehow been given a copy of the white pane that is not placeable on glass, or that the beacon itself has been blocked with another glass pane that has not been removed. As stated, opening to LAN, enabling cheats and setting yourself to survival mode should allow you to bypass not being able to place the glass pane, but it may well be there is something blocking the way. Without more details, I can't really help.
This seems to happen anytime I load the Prismatic 1.2 save file. For example when I collect the blue pane glass it says it can be placed on glass (in the tooltip) but not the white pane one. It just acts as a normal pane glass.
What's more interesting is that at the beginning (first chest) when I try to Left Click on the pane glass to drag it to my inventory I get pulled out of the chest menu, the chest disappears and the pane drops in front of me.
Another thing I'm curious about is if I should be starting with the full inventory line of items. Only the swords seems to have a tooltip.

[Edit]: Now I'm in a weird situation. I downloaded the JSON and Client for the 15w42a snapshot of minecraft. as stated in the download section and now I can't place the blue pane glass on in the first room (the blue one).
[Edit2]: I just added a Command block that set the Item.tag.CanPlaceOn ["minecraft:glass"] on the nearest dropped Item (stained_glass_pane:0) and the game works as expected.

Alright, problems with improper spawns and the white glass pane not starting with CanPlaceOn data tags have now been resolved. If anymore issues occur, please do let us know! 😄
